George is married to Alyce, and they have three children, Holly, Giles and Fern. Both Holly and Giles are now at University and Fern is studying for her GCSEs.

GTG Consulting. George typically provides strategic advice to universities. This includes both residential and academic estate, and might typically include understanding where the university may wish to be, and how best to plot a course from their current position to where they'd like to be.

CBRE. George worked to establish a niche within the firm where he provided advice to university clients. 

KPMG. George's work here typically included advice to public sector organisations, including universities, colleges and hospital trusts. Some work included working for institutions in financial difficulty, helping to develop strategies to improve their financial position.

University of Bristol. George was the space and property manager at the University.
